Giorgio Armani presents the new Vespa 946 Emporio Armani – a jointly developed scooter to celebrate two of Italy’s most established symbols: style and creativity.
Co-created with Piaggio, the special version of the Vespa 946 is in honor of the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Giorgio Armani and the 130th birthday of the Piaggio Group.
A modern reinterpretation of the iconic scooter, the name, ‘Vespa 946’ alludes to the first scooter built in 1946.
This edition features in Armani’s subdued signature palette with a special combination of greys and subtle hints of green which is only visible under particular lighting conditions.
Also featuring aluminum cylinder blocks, brown-leather finishes, luxury accessories, electronic riding controls (which also interface with the latest Internet devices), a four-stroke electronic injection engine, enhanced fuel economy, minimal emissions, 220 mm double disc brake, two-channel ABS braking system and large 12 inch wheels to complement and guarantee maximum safety on the road.
The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani will be produced in an exclusive run of individually numbered scooters, and will be on sale in the world’s most important cities starting this month.
