Tarvydas started with a dark and mystical performance at Savoir Faire Perth Fashion Week, before models gracefully flowed to and fro down the runway displaying pieces from the ‘Dark Angels’ collection.
In what I am dubbing as Ruth’s best collection yet, Dark Angels was a nod in the right direction with playful yet poised, show-stopping red carpet gowns which combined just enough sass to remain true to the labels origins.
The dream-like collection pleased a posse of on-lookers at the packed out venue as each gorgeous garment possessed a combination of clean, fresh and free flowing lines with embellished, tiered, feathered and/or one-sided shoulders.
Sheer sumptuous cocktail dresses equally impressed as they were teamed with Mad-Men inspired hair (finished with gold sprayed gloss) and sophisticated makeup – which made for a fun, sexy and intense show.
Previously attracting attention with her low-plunging necklines, Tarvydas‘ Dark Angels collection is poetically on point and will be available in-store closer to August this year – with each piece promising to be a stand-out staple for the stylish ‘IT girl’ who dares to bare bold and bright evening wear with a twist.
