In support of STYLEAID tribe, six inspiring photographers launched their limited edition, framed photographs to the public at Orangery Fine Art Gallery in Shenton Park on Friday 30 April, 2010.
Each photographer was not only chosen to represent their rendition of the STYLEAID 2010 theme; tribe, because of their high quality of work, but also for their active involvement and interest in the community.
One of the participating photographers, Meleah Farrell, described her collection as something that records her own tribal grounds, “Places of my family, friends and I. These places are considered somewhat sacred to me and I embrace this opportunity to share them with you”.
Another photographer, Kathryn Sprigg, has taken her passion for New York City and developed a collection of photographs that she feels portrays the different tribes of the city.
Christophe Canato, Matt Reed, Michelle Taylor and Di Vidos also have work in the exhibition.[cincopa 10593192]
