It’s that time of the year again, and no it’s not Christmas – just yet! Tis the season where fashion and textile design students celebrate one door closing (that being their studies) and another door opening (their career) with a runway parade showcasing their talent’s to industry insiders, established designers scouting for talent and local fashion enthusiasts.
Burswood’s Grand Ballroom came to life as 3 years of heart and soul was poured into the Polytechnic West 2010 graduate student’s collective runway show – with designers also celebrating 40 years of the annual fashion parade with a collaboration of four decades in fashion photo-boards.
Creative flair and talent dominated the runway, boasting sheers, frills and layering on a whole new level. Guest’s were also teased with a live performance by Perth’s burlesque vixen’s from Sugar Blue Burlesque and officials capped the seamless night off by recognising those stand-out students with the following awards:
