National Myer Fashions On The Field 2011: The Race That Stopped The Nation

Crown Oaks Day for Australian fashionistas is the race that stops the nation, not for its on-track antics but for its fiercely competitive Myer Fashions on the Field off-track race.

Beauties are selected from around the nation and flown, all expenses paid, to Melbourne for the fashion race-off.  However, there can only be one winner of this prestigious award.

And this year…drum role please….  Angela Menz from NSW has taken out the competition in her fabulous on-trend, hand-crafted, colour blocking threads.

Full credit to Angela, it’s no wonder she won – her fabulous orange straw sculptured headpiece with diamante trim is show stopping!

1st runner up went to Louise Struber from QLD in her 1940’s inspired outfit and Alex Foxcroft from VIC impressed the judges for the second time, taking out the 2nd runner up prize.
