Perth’s beauties bared shoulders and broke rules for yet another year of Australia’s premier Myer Fashions on the Field competition at Ascot Racecourse in Perth.
Aptly named “Ladies’ Day”, fashionistas were out in force for the toughest judging panel on record – Myer Racing Ambassador – Rebecca Judd, leading WA designer – Aurelio Costarella, The Sunday Times Fashion Editor – Claire Davies, The West Australian Fashion Editor – Pip Christmass, leading WA Stylist – Teagan Sewell, Perth Now’s – Nancy McDonald, Myer WA General Manager – Kerry Davenport, Myer Perth City Store Personal Shopper – Andrea Tonkin and 2010 Autumn Competition winner – Elicia Anders.
The day attracted 121 hopeful entrants however, we all know there can only be 1 winner! And this year, Kate Reynolds from West Leederville stole the spotlight.
Kate takes home a modest $8,000 shopping spree at Myer, securing the prize with her stunning vintage inspired autumn racing ensemble including a fitted cream blouse with ruffle neckline and an on trend black leather pencil skirt, cinched at the waist – complete with a handcrafted leather pillbox style hatinator and striking animal print gloves and stilettos.
The 2nd and 3rd prize winners were Jane Chami and Danielle Thompson, who also received shopping sprees from Myer.[cincopa AkJAtjKhHOcJ]
