Perth Fashion Festival announced yesterday that iconic West Australian women’s wear label Morrison will open Fashion Paramount 2012.
Presented by Deloitte, Fashion Paramount’s opening event is set to once again take place at the Western Australian Museum‘s Hackett Hall on September 20th.
Perth Fashion Festival Director, Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan said, “We are delighted to have Morrison opening Fashion Paramount 2012 at the beautiful and historic Hackett Hall. Morrison epitomises everything Western Australian and since their 2002 launch they have evolved into one of our most loved and coveted local designers.”
Since launching in 2002, designer Kylie Radford and her husband and business partner, Richard Poulson, have taken their label to new heights nationally with eight stores and 150 wholesale clients, and all garments produced and designed in Australia.
Designer, Kylie Radford said, “This year we celebrate 10 years in the fashion industry and we’re excited to acknowledge this milestone here in Perth where we began.”
Perth Fashion Festival is set to showcase September 19th through till 25th and will feature fashion design talent such as Ellery, Aurelio Costarella, Morrison, Ae’lkemi, Ange Lang, Zhivago, Poppy Lissiman, Reny Kestel Millinery and much more.
