As we head into mid winter here in Australia, I couldn’t think of a better label to adorn myself with (and to keep me warm) than Assembly Label.
And so this post is an ode to those that will fall in love with these threads this winter – just as much as I have!
Mixing well constructed garment creations with an influenced aesthetic of minimalist and clean designs that only utilise high-quality materials, Australian-based cofounders, Damien Horan and Daniel Oliver created Assembly Label in 2011 for a number of reasons…
But mostly to provide purposeful wardrobe essentials for both men and women.
“Born from a desire to create well-made products that embody the relaxed, Australian coastal lifestyle. Reflecting an appreciation for minimalist design, our collections are clean and considered, favouring high-quality materials and refined detail over adornment.”
As is it throughout these carefully curated design principles, that each and every touch point of the brand reflects a simplified approach for relaxed coastal living.
So too is it evident that a ‘seaside to city vibe’ is equally at the core of the brand’s design ethos. Enabling its diverse demographic to mix and match each piece with alternative garments (and/or “on-trend” accessories) to cater for our “more-frequently-alternating” lifestyles throughout the day, and seasons.
And whilst we’ve only got a few of these versatile designs featured in our shop thus far, we’d like to know whether you feel the same as us about this charming label too…??
If you value clothing made from quality materials, that exude a sense of effortless luxury, then Assembly Label is the fashion brand for you!
For me, when shopping for new tran-seasonal pieces for my wardrobe recently, not only did I find the simplistic design ethos of Assembly Label important… But rather, I found that because that very simplicity also extends across to their colour palettes, it ultimately allowed me to take any one of their garments from day-through-to-evening with effortless ease! And that’s exactly what I want when I’ve had a hectic day and I’m being summoned out for dinner.
