This post is brought to you by Kérastase Paris via Maurice Meade.
Much to the contrary of my Mother’s sound advice, I’ve been dying my hair for many years now. And in fact, I was also a hair model in my heyday so I have not only been dying it, I’ve been perming it too (sometimes both in the same week – oops sorry, Mum).
Now that’s all good and well, but over the years I’ve seen it drastically thin at the scalp around my forehead… Which I’m attributing to all of those chemicals over the years. However, not only that, I also have quite long and heavy hair so it tends to lack volume towards the length of it too.
So when my hair stylist at Maurice Meade suggested that I try Kérastase Paris Densifique. I was absolutely delighted to give it a go!
Known to significantly improve hair density – it contains “a powerful blend of Stemoxydine®, Vitamin B3, B5 + B6 and texturizing polymers for an unprecedented densifying action”. I was instructed to apply a vile a day (for 90 days) to the scalp and then massage it in via a circular motion (I also blasted it with my hairdryer most days too).
This was day one of my Kérastase Paris Densifique application:
So as you can see it’s quite long… And now this is after five days of application:
I was already starting to notice the difference by then. And in fact, I really loved the fact that the application didn’t make my hair oily but rather that it made it feel nourished without over conditioning it or drying it out. A perfect balance to which my scalp and hair thoroughly loved.
This is after twenty three days of application:
And this is after forty seven days of application:
By this stage I was noticing lots of regrowth at the front of my hairline and at the back underneath too. Plus the overall condition of it was looking and feeling really healthy also…
Until finally I had completed three months of Kérastase’s Paris Densifique hair density activator hair treatments:
Overall, if I could, then I would use this product each and every day! I cannot recommend it enough and have gotten my best friends and family onto it too now. It has given me thicker more luscious hair that I can notice is so much stronger. Plus it has an incredible smell and I could leave it longer until I had to wash it too (which is a massive bonus if you have hair longer than shoulder length).
But how did I know it had truly worked and others had noticed its benefits too? I had booked into Maurice Meade again for a colour and got a different stylist who used to colour my hair a year or so ago. He kept asking me if I’d had my hair cut or if I was using a new product in it as it felt “so much thicker” to him…
It wasn’t until at the end of my blow dry that I remembered that I’d finished my Kérastase Paris Densifique treatments five days prior! And that this had made complete sense to both of us once I’d informed him!
Let me know your thoughts below – would you (or have you) tried Kérastase Paris Densifique?
And can you notice the difference with my hair (and yours)?
