Kerastase Chronologiste Collection Review

Kerastase have done it again with their Chronologiste collection of at-home luxury hair care products. I’ve been using the range for over five weeks now. And I can easily tell you how great it has made my hair look and feel.

Maurice Meade Perth

Formulated to restore the youth and beauty in each hair fibre. Specifically with the use of their newly discovered ingredient; Abyssine. Which is ultimately used in anti-wrinkle creams. And to which is derived by micro-algae 3,000 metres below the Pacific Ocean in the hydra-thermal water passages. To which Kérastase explored the benefits via an advanced biotechnology. Before coupling the therapeutic and restorative power of Abyssine with Gluco-Lipide GL®, Bisabolol, Vitamin A and E, trio of Ceramids and Oléo-Complexe. Why? To create second to none radiance with a silky satin touch.

Creating an indulgent at-home ritual for all hair types and needs, I couldn’t wait to try it out! And it was so simple too – with these three steps:

Kérastase Chronologiste Collection

  1. First I began with the revitalising exfoliation. This was to detoxify and purify my scalp using the Le Soin Gommage Rénovateur.
  2. From there I cleansed and bathed my hair with the Le Bain Revitalisant shampoo. This step is specifically designed to smooth, strengthen and moisturise each hair follicle. And it smells so delicious too.
  3. Then I applied the highly concentrated La Crème de Régénération mask… This beauty deeply regenerated and strengthened each hair fibre whilst healing and revitalising my scalp…genius!

And as an added measure, I finished with a “sensorial” ritual using Kérastase’s first hair fragrance: Le Parfum En Huile.

Kérastase Chronologiste Collection

Essentially this little beauty is a finishing hair oil. To which they collaborated on with master perfumer, Alberto Morillas.

This delectable hair oil is blended with notes of tea rose, blonde wood, musk and an oleo-extract of myrrh. Gifting you with a premium finish that’s inspired by the art of luxury perfume making. And oh-my, it literally makes you (and your hair) want more each time.

Alberto Morillas has been creating fragrances for the likes of Bulgari, Cartier, Giorgio Armani, Carolina Herrera and Calvin Klein (just to name a few) for decades.

“Kérastase Paris is synonymous with ultra-luxury. This collaboration allowed me to reinvent the ancestral gesture of perfumed oil. To develop an extremely qualitative product. Maybe even more than some perfumes. Inspired by the roses of the park of Batatelle. The fragrance is natural and crispy. Modernised by light woods to reveal a sensual signature with mysterious and captivating musk and myrrh,” said Alberto.

And it’s truly a unique smell that you will want to finish this incredible ritual with.

Here’s a pic of my hair just after one of my Kerastase Chronologiste rituals:

As they say, happy hair = happy life!

The Kerastase Chronologiste collection is now available at Maurice Meade salons across Perth.

And I can highly recommend it for all those ladies who know the importance of healthy, shiny and happy hair!
