Contemporary Australian artist, Linzi Carter is set to transform one of Karrinyup Shopping Centre’s main entrances. As she paints and creates a live floral art mural for patrons over the weekend.
In a bid to welcome in the new Spring/Summer season, over the course of Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of August, Linzi will transform the Ground Floor main entrance into a fabulous floral portrait titled ‘Portraits of Spring’.
Drawing inspiration from the shopping precinct’s latest fashion campaign, the on-trend mural will gift shoppers a glimpse into the graphic world of one of Australia’s premier illustrators whilst bringing to life Karrinyup‘s new Spring Summer fashions.
Known and most sought after for her live painting, which utilises Japanese graphics, street art and textiles, Linzi said, “I am thrilled to be collaborating with Karrinyup Shopping Centre, as part of their Spring Summer Campaign. The Portraits of Spring mural will be the perfect way to bring the Spring season to life as shoppers arrive at the Centre!”
Marketing Manager of Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Claire Ridley, concluded, “We couldn’t be more excited about Karrinyup’s new Spring Summer Campaign and couldn’t think of a better way to bring it to life! Just like flowers in Spring, the floral mural will grow each day and eventually develop into an incredible piece of artwork for shoppers to enjoy!”
