H&M Australia has officially opened… With more than 3,000 fans awaiting the moment at the Swedish born fashion retailer’s Melbourne GPO Building location.
H&M CEO, Karl-John Persson and Australian Country Manager, Hans Andersson were there to cut the ribbon of the new Australian flagship store. As the general public started queuing from 6am in anticipation.
H&M Care Carts were on hand to take care of all of the guest’s refreshment needs. Including a Beauty Cart that was also on hand to offer “touch ups” to excited shoppers.
Exclusive gift bags were also offered to those who were waiting. Filled with lots of H&M goodies.
DJ Anna Lunoe hit the decks at 9am to further hype up the crowd. As guests got even more eager to see inside the concept store. And excitedly so, as they were about to be among the first to see the specially designed ‘Australia Exclusive Collection’.
Australian Country Manager for H&M, Hans Andersson said, “It’s exciting to finally have the opportunity to bring H&M to Australian shores. We have had an amazing response today and it is wonderful to see so many excited and happy customers in the store.”
H&M Australia offers apparel, underwear and accessories for men, women, kids and babies.
As well as H&M’s Home concept (which delivers fashion for your home).
