Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert Joins Swarovski As New Creative Director

Swarovski has announced today that they’ve engaged Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert as their first ever Creative Director.

Moving forward, Giovanna will oversee the full creative direction of the brand and reimagine the product portfolio across all divisions.

The first products to be designed by Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert will be showcased in Swarovski’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert said, “For decades, Swarovski has been illuminating the world of fashion, design, entertainment, in general the whole creative industry. I am thrilled to be leading the creative vision of a cultural powerhouse like Swarovski in the future”.

Swarovski is currently in the midst of realigning its business with a new vision and growth strategy. One that the brand hasn’t seen since its inception in 1825. And I personally cannot wait to see what Giovanna has in stall!

Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert is an Italian Creative Director, international Editor and Fashion Consultant with over 20 years of experience. Born and raised in Milan, Giovanna has worked with global luxury brands on their ongoing creative and sustainable transformation of products, imagery, retail, organizations and marketing campaigns. She has now been appointed Global Creative Director at Swarovski. Already having been committed to the creative direction of Swarovski’s B2B division since 2016 by bringing her consistent and compelling point of view in the areas of ingredient branding, design and content curation, her role will now cover all creative aspects of Swarovski as a whole.
