Foxtel will broadcast the hit television series, Game of Thrones at the same time as the US with the worldwide phenomenon – which is in its 5th season, set to air at 9am WST on Monday April 13th.
After the shocking deaths of Joffrey, Tywin, Oberyn and Shae in season 4, the 5th season of the fantasy drama features some of the most explosive scenes yet, as the promise that “winter is coming” becomes more ominous than ever before.
Starting season 5 with a power vacuum that protagonists across Westeros and Essos look to fill. At Castle Black, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) struggles to balance the demands of the Night’s Watch with those of newly-arrived Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane), who styles himself the rightful king of Westeros.
