The Manning Cartell design trio have done it again! Marking their 10th anniversary with yet another of their remarkable ready-to-wear collections.
The Australian made, international women’s wear label, showcased their stand-out spring summer 2015/16 wares on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2015 runway to rave reviews.
The Manning sisters – Cheryl, Vanessa and Gabrielle, captivated the ever-growing fashion-influencers of the industry. Along with fashion’s elite by creating a mammoth ice rink space in the massive warehouse at Carriageworks.
Front row VIPs lined the rink style runway. Which had a layer of white fine sand particles completely covering it. While LED downlight strips (that were reminiscent of newly formed dripping ice cuticles) cascaded down from the centre of the ceiling to set the mood…
A multitude of healthy sized models then walked back and forth. Zigzagging across the sand-grained floor to display the mammoth fifty piece collection of juxtaposed silhouettes, bold mixed prints and cleverly constructed garments.
Easy flowing and aesthetically pleasing apparel exhibited to and fro effortlessly. With the ethos of the label clearly evident as plenty of variety delighted onlookers in the form of sheer fabrics, length varying layers, delicate lace finishes and ladylike ensembles.
International supermodel and Victoria’s Secret angel, Erin Heatherton was just one of the many celebrities in attendance. Along with Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Samara Weaving, Jessica Mauboy and E! Australia host, Ksenija Lukich.
All in all the collection was a crowd pleaser. A chic and charming combination of many eras. All to which will undoubtedly appeal to the fashion world masses. As let’s face it, the Manning Cartell fan base is ever growing.
It’s clearly not hard to see why Manning Cartell are stocked in almost 100 stores nationally and internationally… With flagship boutiques now in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
