In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Fringe World 2019 is upon us in Perth and this year it features one of my fave performances, BLANC de BLANC.
Produced by independent production house, Strut & Fret, the show is a filled with champagne, sultry seduction, vintage glamour and spectacular acrobatic moments.
Having already premiered in Perth before (in 2016), the performance is back by popular demand and it’s easy to see why!
Directed by the incredible Scott Maidment (think LIMBO, Cantina and Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour), BLANC de BLANC is cleverly choreographed by one of the masters of the industry, Kevin Maher (who has choreographed for the likes of Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and Madonna).
As the set and costumes are designed by the exceptional, James Browne (think numerous worldwide theatre, film and event productions)..
And the unforgettable cast – who can forget them! Made up of maître d’ and all around heartthrob Monsieur Roméo, Jarrod Bates, Hampus Jansson, JaiMime, Jess Mews, Laura New and Milena Straczynski.
This is one Fringe World show that you don’t want to miss!
Where: The Pear Tree – situated on William Street in China Town.
When: Friday, 18 January through Saturday, 2 March, 2019.
Why: It’s an adults-only show that you don’t want to miss for its second-to-none acrobatic performances, and often-jaw-dropping yet hilarious debauchery!
