Picasso To Warhol In Perth
Winter is undoubtedly about Art and Perth has an abundance of fabulous (and famous) art exhibitions at the moment, like Picasso to Warhol: Fourteen Modern Masters from The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Picasso to Warhol: Fourteen Modern Masters is the exciting launch exhibition of the Australian exclusive partnership between AGWA and MoMA. Featuring over 120 works by fourteen of modern art’s most iconic artists including Matisse, Picasso, Pollock and Warhol, this exhibition presents a world-class introduction to the figures who redefined the very idea of art.

Savour some well-known favourites such as Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans and discover some new friends, such as Léger’s Big Julie. Encompassing a wide range of art movements including Cubism, Abstract Expressionism and Pop art, Picasso to Warhol will leave you inspired and invigorated with a renewed sense of wonder at what modern art can be.
Running from 16th June through till 3rd December, 2012.

Nice Day For Online Shopping
Personally I did a spot of online shopping last night but upon awakening this morning, today looks like a superb day to stay indoors (in bed) and do some online shopping at ASOS – with dresses, shoes, pants, leggings and more (literally thousands to choose from) and free shipping to Australia, I simply cannot resist!
Blend Like A Professional Make-up Artist
All too often I see amateurs take on dramatic eyeshadow looks that simply don’t look good, let alone classy. It’s one thing to have a pop of colour and another to look, well…let’s not insult anyone here.
Here is a short video I found on Youtube that will show you how to blend like a professional make-up artist.
My best tips are to invest in a set of good brushes and then if you’re going to go outrageous with a vibrant colour then make sure to actually blend and not just pack on (and remember: it’s never cool NOT to blend).

Morrison And The Telethon Adventurers Join Fashion Forces
Morrison Clothing and The Telethon Adventurers joined fashion forces last night at Garden City Shopping Centre to raise awareness and much needed funds for research to cure childhood cancer.
Change rooms over flowed with guests awaiting to try on their hand picked threads, as fine finger food and champagne by Hire Society flowed out front…with 15% of sales going to one of the most worthiest of causes, who couldn’t dig deep?!
The Telethon Adventurers were established in 2010 by Rick Parish and Peter Wilson. In 2011, The Telethon Adventurers hope to more than double their first year’s fundraising efforts and have set a target of $2 million. Please dig deep and donate regularly to this worthy cause here – http://www.theadventurers.com.au/content/general_information/donate/2
Known for its chic comfortability, Morrison is now in their 10th year of design and is set to open this year’s Perth Fashion Festival‘s Fashion Paramount – with one of our favourite Morrison collections being Redemption in 2010, we’re sure they’re going to amaze on-lookers.
