Palais 85 Showcases WA Fashion
The best of new-season WA fashion will be showcased at Fashion High Tea at Palais 85 on Saturday 29th May 2010.
Styled by Desmond Eddy, Fashion Editor for Western Suburbs Weekly, guests will view designs by Little Gracie, Natasha Mapleson, Paper Skye, pinchandspoon and ae’lkemi.
This Palais 85 Fashion High Tea will see guests enjoying a specially created high tea with sparkling wine as they overlook the breathtaking views of our city.
Tickets are $55 per person and include a glass of sparkling wine on arrival.

Last night, British luxury fashion house Burberry launched their Spring 2010 collection ‘April Showers’ to guests at the Perth Wesley Quarter store.

The collection, for both men and women, boasts vibrant colours and includes fitted trench coats, polo shirts and dresses, padded jackets, “stowaway” windbreakers and accessories.

Curtain’s Public Relations Student Chapter came together last night for their annual night of networking at Skatt in Mount Hawthorn.
The event; PR In Fashion, was a seamless night of fashion and networking with guest speakers Aly May and David Gardiner shedding some much needed light and guidance on the ever increasing fashion community here in Perth.
Four of Curtains best design students also showcased their collections; Lauren Hung (Eve of Adam), Sally Wilsons (Smoke and Mirrors), Candice Tranchita and Jennifer Nebel.

Carson Kressley delved into his dress up box today to kick off the West Australian leg of the Westfield Be Styled Tour at Whitford’s City.

The Game Of Kings; Barbagallo Polo In The Valley
Guest’s flocked to Duncraig Stud, the private estate of Peter and Debra Prendiville, for the inaugural Barbagallo Polo In The Valley on Sunday 18 April, 2010.
The Game of Kings, as it’s commonly called, exhibited Australia’s top players including Australian Captain Glen Gilmore, and Daniel Ottamende from Argentina, who both flew in to take part in the first class match.
The exhiliration and adrenalin was also matched with the excitement of the Fashions On The Field hosted by Damien Johnson and won by Geraldine Beros, who won a Kailis silver “T” Bar collection necklace.

1st runner up went to Yvonne Burns (winning a gorgeous leather handbag by Passion Argentina from Honey Honey), 2nd runner up went to Karen Gilmore (who won a bottle of Verve Cliquot Champagne) and Young fashion on the field was won by Gabby Pugh (who also won a bottle of Verve Cliquot Champagne).
In honour of the occasion Peter and Debra Prendiville donated $50,000 to Youth Focus, a West Australian non-profit organisation.
