“This February I invite you all to create your own West Side story.

Take a stroll through one of our elegant, luxurious retail precincts – I promise you will discover something new and exciting.

As you stroll around the Westend, take note of how Western Australian forward retailers sit confidently alongside some of the world’s most established and well known designer labels.

Restored heritage buildings along King Street are a window into Perth’s rich cultural history while the new Wesley Quarter demonstrates contemporary design – a harmonizing pairing of the old and new.

Take a turn off the main streets and head down one of the Westend’s laneways to explore the new cafés, bars and art galleries that operate in our more out of the way spaces.

During the Westend Festival, gather with friends and join in the many activities that will take place in this much loved area.  There’s fashion parades, dancing, dining, movies, comedy and music — including a contest to find our top DJ.

I commend the diverse group of Westend retailers and all the other businesses who have worked hard to produce this four-day festival for your complete enjoyment.
