Polytechnic West Fashion Show
Design students from Polytechnic West (formely Swan TAFE) bestowed a wealth of creation at Tuesday’s fashion show at the Burswood Grand Ball Room.
At the 39th annual fashion show Lucas Bowers from Ericaamerica MC’d to a crowded house. With graduating students; Augustus Pinto, Rebecca Manning, Yen Le, Tarra Shaylor, Eileen Kelly, Lauren Walsh, Oshi Thilakarathna, Ann Lewis, Kate Wilks, Rachel McRae, Blair Nelson, Leah Granich, Andrea Wolf, Natalie Van Eerden, Samantha Hector, Erin Vanhaeften, Jeremy Liew, Matilda Atwell, Jayde Tully, Graeme Hall, Nicola Potter, Gabrielle Maranta, Kate Windsor, Tatyana Quici and Zoe Trotman, showcasing three outfits from their ready-to-wear range and one couture gown to exhibit their ‘creative talents’.
Demonstrating their volume of skills, the students were judged by some of the industries most successful; Deborah McKendrick – Velvet Sushi, Mariella Harvey Hanrahan – Perth Fashion Festival, Michelle Lloyd – Clear Coutoure, Nicole Antiov – Galleria Coutoure, Paula Newman – Shion, Ruth Tarvydas – Ruth Tarvydas International, Sophie Kyron – Sophie Kyron Jewellery, and Timothy Godbald – Timothy Godbold Australia. With awards going to the following students:
