Fashion TV Delivers A Scorcher Fashion Parade At Paspaley Polo In The City
Yesterday’s globally recognised Paspaley Polo in the City was certainly a scorcher, with Fashion TV’s exclusive presence delivering their first runway show to V.I.Perthalites.
With the Perth skyline as the backdrop FTV’s high profile WA agent and stylist Sylvia Giacci delivered Perth’s local and accelerating high fashionable talent; Ae’lkemi, Vivante, Bernice Sara Swimwear, Paper Skye, and not to mention national and international brands Bettina Liano and Carmen Steffens, in a fashion parade that had onlookers broiling to catch a glimpse at this season’s hottest designs.
Classic gold chained dresses and skirts, ripped denim, show stopping race wear and evening wear, bathers that were oh-so-enticing and menswear with a difference were just some of the people’s favourites.

While models were adorned with the stunning new collection; a breathtaking diamond cuff bangle featuring more than 760 rare white and naturally coloured diamonds intricately set and weighing more than 26 carats, a stunning 6.3ct brilliant cut diamond surrounded by seven rows of intricately set micro‐pave and channel set diamonds, a ‘Treasures of the Night’ black diamond micro‐pave bangle with a sprinkle of brilliant white diamonds weighing more than 27 carats and a stunning 45ct brilliant white diamond necklet (just to name a few of the collection pieces), models were also dressed by Perth’s very own leading designer; Ae’lkemi.

Polytechnic West Fashion Show
Design students from Polytechnic West (formely Swan TAFE) bestowed a wealth of creation at Tuesday’s fashion show at the Burswood Grand Ball Room.
At the 39th annual fashion show Lucas Bowers from Ericaamerica MC’d to a crowded house. With graduating students; Augustus Pinto, Rebecca Manning, Yen Le, Tarra Shaylor, Eileen Kelly, Lauren Walsh, Oshi Thilakarathna, Ann Lewis, Kate Wilks, Rachel McRae, Blair Nelson, Leah Granich, Andrea Wolf, Natalie Van Eerden, Samantha Hector, Erin Vanhaeften, Jeremy Liew, Matilda Atwell, Jayde Tully, Graeme Hall, Nicola Potter, Gabrielle Maranta, Kate Windsor, Tatyana Quici and Zoe Trotman, showcasing three outfits from their ready-to-wear range and one couture gown to exhibit their ‘creative talents’.
Demonstrating their volume of skills, the students were judged by some of the industries most successful; Deborah McKendrick – Velvet Sushi, Mariella Harvey Hanrahan – Perth Fashion Festival, Michelle Lloyd – Clear Coutoure, Nicole Antiov – Galleria Coutoure, Paula Newman – Shion, Ruth Tarvydas – Ruth Tarvydas International, Sophie Kyron – Sophie Kyron Jewellery, and Timothy Godbald – Timothy Godbold Australia.
