Central TAFE’s Graduation Fashion Show; Sixteen Acts

As a Perth based online fashion website that aims to bring local talent to the forefront, it was a pleasure to be invited to Monday’s Central TAFE graduating finale show; Sixteen Acts, at His Majesty’s Theatre.

The show was the completion of 3 years of full time study and the pinnacle of achievement for Central TAFE’s sixteen graduating Fashion and Textile Design students; Natalie Fardella, Eve Goh, Melissa Goh, Alice Gray, Chloe Jones, Pauline Kashimoto, Jane Kelsey, Catherine Mancini, Monnica Marwick, Justine Maxwell, Hannah McGrath, Charmé Nienaber, Ashley Reader, Jessica Shirras, Tim Watson and Quinton Weymouth.

With congratulations going to the winners of each category:

Ashley Reader for the Excellence in Print Development & Manipulation award,

Catherine Mancini for the Excellence in Garment Construction award, and

Chloe Jones for the X-Press award

Each act promised to be as “diverse, eclectic, beautiful, dark, moody, spirited, whimsical, eccentric, innovative and unique as the students themselves” – and indeed they were.

Congratulations to all of the graduating students, lecturers and those behind the scenes.  We look forward to having the emerging designers mark their stamp on the fashion industry.
